Impact and sourcing
We source ingredients from trusted suppliers worldwide, prioritising quality, safety and responsible sourcing. All suppliers need to be fully transparent in how they work and source their ingredients.
We only use carefully selected, science-backed ingredients combined with botanical flavors in all our formulas. A full transparent ingredient list with its function and why we use it is shown below.
Xylitol - Function: Flavor experience What it is: A natural sugar substitute found in: birch trees, corn cobs, and certain fruits. It gives the tablet a lightly sweet taste and helps inhibit the growth of Streptococcus mutans, the bacteria responsible for tooth decay.
Isomalt - Function: Flavor experience What it is: A plant-derived sugar substitute made from sugar beet. It provides a mild, balanced sweetness while being non-cariogenic, meaning it does not contribute to tooth decay.
Calcium Carbonate - Function: Mild polishing What it is: A naturally occurring mineral used as a gentle polishing agent and a building block for teeth. It supports the natural remineralisation of enamel and helps regulate oral pH after eating or drinking, reducing the impact of acids.
Microcrystalline Cellulose - Function: Tablet structure & texture What it is: A plant-based ingredient used as a natural binder, helping the tablet hold its shape while dissolving smoothly during brushing.
Sodium Bicarbonate - Function: Gentle cleansing & pH balance What it is: A mild, mineral-based cleansing ingredient used in low concentrations to help remove surface stains and plaque without being abrasive. It helps raise oral pH after eating or drinking, making the mouth less acidic, and provides a subtle brightening effect by lifting surface discoloration.

Sodium Monofluorophosphate - Function: Enamel support & cavity protection What it is: A fluoride based ingredient widely used in oral care to help support enamel strength and protect teeth against daily acid exposure. It is well researched and commonly accepted for its role in supporting remineralisation as part of everyday oral care.
Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate - Function: Gentle cleansing & foam What it is: A mild cleansing ingredient that helps remove grease, residues, and food particles from the teeth without the use of aggressive abrasive agents. It creates a subtle foaming effect and is significantly gentler than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), making it suitable for sensitive teeth. It is derived from coconut oil (cocoyl) and L-glutamic acid, an amino acid obtained through plant-based fermentation.
Potassium Nitrate - Function: Comfort for sensitive teeth What it is: A potassium-based ingredient commonly used in mouthcare to help support comfort in teeth that are sensitive to external stimuli. It is known to help reduce the intensity of everyday sensations during brushing, contributing to a more comfortable experience.

Zinc Citrate - Function: Oral balance & freshness What it is: A zinc-based ingredient commonly used in oral care to help support a balanced oral environment and maintain freshness during daily brushing. When used alongside fluoride, it complements overall enamel care and everyday plaque management.
Stevia Rebaudiana Extract - Function: Flavor experience What it is: A plant based sweetening ingredient used to enhance the taste of the tablet without added sugar or sugar alcohols. It does not contribute to tooth decay and is obtained from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant, commonly grown in South America.

These flavourings are used in small amounts to create a fresh, refined taste with subtle herbal notes, contributing to a pleasant and well-rounded brushing experience.

We intentionally leave out a number of ingredients that are often found on toothpaste ingredient lists but do not align with our approach to everyday mouthcare.
This includes microplastic ingredients such as Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP) and Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA), which are sometimes used as texturising or polishing agents. We also avoid synthetic foaming agents like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), which can feel harsh for some users.
In addition, we choose not to use synthetic sweeteners such as Saccharin or Sodium Saccharin, artificial colourants including CI 42090, CI 19140 and CI 77891, and unnecessary fillers or bulking agents like Titanium Dioxide when they do not contribute to the brushing experience.
Instead we focus on carefully selected ingredients chosen for balance, comfort and taste without relying on excess additives.
